A mesmerizing pair of antique rose cut Diamond earrings dating to the Victorian era (circa 1870). Each earring features a row of five unfoiled rose-cut diamonds. Magnificently hand-crafted with original Victorian leverback locks, the diamond pieces are enclosed in yellow gold set on a faceted rose gold bar. Adorable natural seed pearls on wire surround the main diamond piece at top, while a white all natural pearl dangles at the bottom.
Due to the nature of measuring antique jewelry, total carat weight of diamonds is unknown. Has been appraised by Clars auction gallery and tests positive for diamonds and gold. Natural seed pearls are original, dangle pearl may have been replaced.
Widest part of earring measures 1 cm (or 0.39")
Condition: Excellent condition showing only normal wear consistent with item's age. Diamonds are brilliant and have lots of clarity.
