Amazing and rare 1930s silk chiffon beaded gown designed by Norman, designer and couturier based out of England. In excellent condition, this lovely gown features a sparkling array of beads in the design of peacock feathers all along the neckline. Featuring dozens of meticulously sewn on glass beads and rhinestones, this gown catches the light beautifully.
Dating from the late 1920s to early 30s, this dress has a light and flowing shape, nipping in slightly at the natural waist. Cut on the bias, the dress is masterfully sewn with deco seams highlighting at the hips. Slightly longer in the back than in the front, this dress could be worn with heels easily. Perfect for a red carpet event, would look absolutely stunning with hair up in curls.
