Antique 1800s French Linen Work Shirt Tunic Dress in Indigo Stripe
This product is unavailable
Antique 1800s French linen smock tunic made of 100% homespun cotton linen. This antique French work shirt was originally worn by farmers, agricultural workers, and skilled artisans who were working with their hands outdoors. I really love these shirts because not only are they so wearable, but the history behind them make them so special. The original owner's initials "EM" are embroidered in red thread on the left side of the bodice.
Made of thick cotton linen from cotton crops grown on the farm, this linen has a sturdy weight and soft hand that you just can't find on the market today. Hand-dyed indigo blue, the tunic features a white stripe detail throughout.
Great to wear as tunics over denim or leggings.
