Vintage 1960s pink babydoll hostess maxi dress. During the 1960s, hostess gowns were long dresses worn by the lady of the house when she entertained. Made of a beautiful weight cotton blend fabric: this stunning vintage 60s gown features adorable fabric covered buttons and a square bow in back. The cut on this dress is simply fabulous! The bodice features an empire waist while a gathering adds a bit of character to the skirt. The dress zips in the back on the neck, while the bow snaps on and off. Pair this dress with flats or your favorite sandals for a little resort-wear fun.

Fun fact: In the early 1960s, Vogue magazine even suggested having hostess gowns made to match your living room curtains and upholstery. Weird but kind of awesome!
