1920s Red Satin Embroidered Korean Skirt
This product is unavailable
This antique 1920s satin Korean skirt features some of the best embroidery hand-work I have ever seen. Exquisite and rare, this skirt is in pristine condition. Made of a brilliant and bright red silk satin, this skirt features silk floss embroidery throughout depicting a large and stunning peacock bird on the front and back of the skirt. Every hand-stiched embroidery is done with precise detail. It is perfectly symmetrical and very well thought out. This is a skirt that only the wealthiest women could have worn during the 1920s in Korea. It just exudes luxury. Works of art like this just aren't made anymore in this modern day.
The skirt features the classic dropped waist of the era with a large and upright waistband. Wear this skirt delicately with a cream silk blouse, black velvet overcoat and your favorite black mary janes. Absolutely stunning and surreal in every way, this skirt is a beautiful item to admire or wear.
