Rare antique 1920s flapper coat made of silk velvet featuring a stunning sequinned gold collar. This lovely statement coat is an eye-catching attention grabber! Made with a beautifully light and soft silk velvet, this coat captures light in the most beautiful ways. It is fully lined with two layers: a lovely gold silk satin, and underneath that, an (invisible) cashmere layer! You heard me, this coat is lined with cashmere and silk satin. It keeps you very warm, and can be worn open or closed.
The coat features two large silk velvet covered buttons, as well as a pointed triangle seam detail on the elbows.

Condition: Very Good vintage condition. It has some barely noticeable flaws. There is a repaired/stitched tear near the 2nd button. I attached a close up of this. Some minor sequin loss on the collar. There is also a 3" section in the lining where the seam is loose (located in the right shoulder seam lining). Otherwise a very beautiful and wearable coat!
