Dresses like these only come around every once in a while. Absolutely surreal, this glittering gold Couture 1920s evening gown is made entirely of silk lamé. Super soft and slinky to the touch, this gown slips on and captures light beautifully. Only an experienced couturier could have created this lovely gown, as it appears to have been entirely hand sewn. Designed in an Asian high-style, this masterful gown features lame-wrapped silk thread embroidered floral appliques adding complexity and exoticism to the dress. Gold metal chain is used for the embroidered leave motifs connecting the floral pieces together, giving the dress a surrealist charm.

Topping off an already spectacular dress, a long black silk net shawl featuring sparkling gold glass beads and a fringed lame and silk Asian tassel drapes lightly over the shoulders. In almost like new condition, this rare gown is a beautiful work of art that we are sure will be a piece you will treasure forever.
